I charge a flat fee for prenumptials, wills, power of attorney, health care directives, and special needs trusts. I will also take the time to go over what is needed and review the completed legal documents with you. Meet me in my office, or for an additional fee, I will travel to your location. 

Musicians and Artists

I have personally copyrighted three albums and can help musicians copyright their music, trademark their band's name, and answer questions regarding Federal tax issues. In some circumstances I can review band performance contracts, music royalty contracts, music recording contracts, work-for-hire agreements, and media agreements.

Family Law

I charge a flat fee for uncontested divorces and hourly for contested. Expect to pay more when children are involved, assets, and/or a small business. ​This area of law is similar to criminal law, as it is very emotional, especially if children are involved. I spent 4 years as a family law paralegal and over 5 years as a family law attorney. I have prepared and filed legal separations and divorces, parenting plans, child support orders, and QDROs. I have done a lot of litigation, court appearances, mediations, and trials.

Such presentations include, but are not limited to, preparing and filing documents, discovery, corresponding and communicating with the Internal Revenue Service, rendering written advice with respect to any entity, transaction, plan or arrangement, and representing a client at conferences, hearings, and meetings. I am a United States Tax Court member and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
